Second week of sobriety at show but this time it wasn’t so bad. I mean the show was streaming and friends came to shoot the shit with us. I don’t remember what kind of discussions we were having besides about sobriety, but at some point (off air) I was telling the friends about my curiosity “straight edge” and the interview I gave DJ Yung Machete about “straight edge.” DJF and I decided we were going to start our own subgroup of SXE but maybe one that involves drinking. In other news - The DJs were exchanging naughty photos with some of our listener friends behind the scenes. ;)

morningriser:

if anyone wants a physical copy of our new record ~*~bodies of water~*~ but doesn’t own a record player (like me) or just likes tapes — you can order our record on cassette from lauren records here. the tape has it’s own cover (drawn by eugene of the corner store across the street from our apartment) and also has demo recordings on side B
for the record on vinyl, you can get it from salinas records here
as a band we don’t really have a good place to say promotional things because we don’t have a band facebook or tumblr, but i really want to support my friends who spend their time putting out releases and like our band and wanted to release something we made, so maybe this’ll help
as for tour preperation, i wouldn’t say i’m emotionally prepared (can u ever be?), but i have written multiple draft lists of what clothes to pack so i think i’m ready in that regard

babies of dysphoric immigrant realities, babies of resistance & decolonization, babies of queer diaspora, babies fighting cultural disembodiment, babies representing oceania, babies dismantling western ideas of brown bodies.

I see you.
